The "Grand Sud Ouest" Day

This annual event, which traditionally brings together about a hundred participants, is an important interregional scientific meeting of the south-west of France. Organized alternately at four key academic sites (Bordeaux, Montpellier, Pau and Toulouse), it aims to bring together and animate the entire research community in chemistry. Transverse and multidisciplinary, this scientific meeting addresses all the branches of Chemistry developed in university or industrial laboratory. It is also open to the greatest number of people and has taken on special importance over the years among young professionals who have the opportunity to share their results with the greatest number in a stimulating and convivial atmosphere.

These last years the "Grand SUd Ouest" day regularly opened to international audience by inviting attendees from spanish Catalonia (2010) and from Portugal (2014).

The program alternates plenary lectures and several parallel sessions of oral presentations. A poster session is also organized during the buffet at lunchtime.
