The Midi-Pyrénées regional section of the French Chemical Society (Société Chimique de France, SCF) and the laboratory of Synthesis and Physical Chemistry of Molecules of Biological Interest (UMR 5068) organize the "Grand Sud-Ouest" (GSO) day in Toulouse on November 24^th 2017.

  
This next edition will be held under the aegis of the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF), which will make Toulouse the European Science Capital in 2018. Thus, a special opening on Europe will be sought with the participation of renowned foreign speakers. Plenary lectures will be given by Professor Jonathan Clayden (University of Bristol, England) and Professor Tobias Ritter (Max Planck Institute, Mülheim, Germany).
